Book Review – Householder Yogini by Stephanie Hrehirchuk

This beautiful guide infuses family life with ancient practices. It takes you on a holistic healing journey using the chakras as your roadmap. Transform your life from the inside out. This is the path of the Householder Yogini. A must-read for every mother!

“You made the seemingly intangible, tangible by providing physical and emotional symptoms of an unbalanced chakra that anyone could identify in their lives. The practical suggestions for balancing can quite easily be implemented into the busiest of lives. I think everyone is looking for that! And as always, I love how you bring it back to nature; the cornerstone really.” – Emily, Calgary, Alberta

Welcome to your journey. It’s not about changing who you are. It’s about knowing who you are.

Householder Yogini Practices & Journaling Exercises for Women who Live at the Intersection of Spirituality & Family is a book written after my own heart. It is a collection of wisdom and inspiration in the empowering space between practical and mystical. You can approach this book as a course to complete or as a menu from which to pick and choose. Whichever your approach, there is no escaping the subtle and profound changes that this book can inspire.

Although I didn’t complete every exercise, I still felt that the entire contents of the book seeped into my soul. I felt a positive shift in my perspective and an increase in my energy every time I sat down to read. Beautiful nuggets for improving my meditation and yoga practices were included in every chapter. I captured inspiration and encouragement for my work from the quotes and prose. The feminine and motherly comradery nurtured me throughout the book. It was a well-rounded experience and a great mini-retreat from the everyday.

  1. Thank you, Julie! I’m happy you enjoyed the exercises and found some nuggets for your yoga practice. This book was a labour of love for me. I adore it. I appreciate you for reviewing it so thoughtfully. Now, I’m off to find a dragonfly šŸ˜‰

  2. I was so inspired by Stephanie’s book, An Accidental Awakening. I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want to finish it. I felt as if I was a part of her journey and it was the yoga retreat I have always wanted to be a part of, without leaving my home. Since finishing the book, I have continued to read and re-read other works by Stephanie for my own knowledge and inspiration.

    1. Karen, this makes my heart sing. I’m grateful you could retreat along with me in the book. Thank you for being part of my journey. If you haven’t read the follow-up book, Awakening on Purpose:Trusting the call, you’re in for another retreat šŸ˜‰ I am currently writing book 3 in the series.
All the best to you <3
