If you find yourself holding more tension in your body lately, here are three quick tips to relieve the strain. Try each of them and see which one works best for you.
- Unclench your jaw and relax your tongue, and your body will naturally relax as well. This is an ancient yogi technique.
- Interweave your fingers, palms facing you, thumbs up to create the faith mudra. Place the faith mudra on your chest to simulate a hug and release tension.
- Take a deep breath starting from your belly all the way up to your throat. Pause at full for a moment before releasing in reverse from your throat to your belly. Pause again at empty. Repeat at least two more times.
