The Strangest Urge

I had the strangest urge this past weekend to listen to chanting. My soul was just craving it to no end. I finally found an album of Gregorian Chants by the Monks of the Abbey of Notre Dame. I went to bed listening to it and had the best rest I have had in weeks. I meditated with it playing in the background and had some personal breakthroughs. I’m all about it right now.

Here is a YouTube link if perchance this is what your soul needs too. I listened to mine on Amazon Music, Gregorian Chants by the Monks of the Abbey of Notre Dame.

  1. That’s kinda awesome. Now I want to give it a listen. It seems like it would be so comforting. β™₯οΈπŸ‘πŸ»

  2. Yes Julie, the sound echoed around in this big old Catholic church, it was night and it was fairly dim light with candles. We tiptoed in, and sat down very humbly. We felt in awe I think, and there was an amazing feeling we all shared while we listened. Indescribable.

    1. I’m glad you liked it. I’ve gotten two texts since my post that my friends were craving the same thing. They found two different sources, but they are listening to the same type of music, so interesting!
